Marriage Builders is heard live from 10 AM to 1 PM CST daily on the USA Radio Network.  The show is repeated from 3 AM to 6 AM the following morning.  It will be hosted by radio talk show veteran Joyce Harley and her husband, Willard F. Harley, Jr., Ph.D., author of the internationally best selling book, His Needs, Her Needs:  Building an Affair-proof Marriage.  So far, over three million copies have been sold, and it's been translated into twenty foreign languages.  For each of the past 20 years more copies have been sold than the year before.

A Licensed Clinical Psychologist for more than thirty years, Dr. Harley began his career teaching psychology at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Dr. Harley was a frustrated marriage counselor with little success in saving marriages, and when he discovered that almost all marriage counselors were failing to help couples, he designed an entirely new approach. When his success rate climbed to over 90%, he resigned from his teaching position to counsel couples full-time. Over the next ten years his solo practice developed into the large network of mental health clinics in Minnesota, thirty-two locations.

His Needs, Her Needs was first published in 1986, and it was intended to be a support text for his marriage counseling program, within three years it had become a national best-seller and a basic reference for marriage counselors throughout the nation.  Since then, he has written 14 more books and hundreds of articles. His latest book, Defending Traditional Marriage:  It Starts with you, was published in the Fall of 2005.

Dr. Harley and his wife, Joyce, appear together several times a year in various cities for Marriage Builders Weekend, which introduces couples to his highly successful plan for marital recovery. The weekend kicks off a one-year home study program that includes personal accountability. He supervises the progress of those who enroll, and answers their questions on a special Marriage Builders Weekend section of the Forum. Dr. Harley is also a popular guest and marriage expert on such national TV programs as "The O'Reilly Factor" and others.
